The default location for the auto save file should be C: Users AppData Roaming McNeel Rhinoceros 5.0 AutoSave RhinoAutosave.3dm I would also check for a 3dmbak file in the same directory as the file you were working on. Included in the AutoCAD Express Tools is the MOVEBAK command which allows you to specify an alternative folder for your bak files when created. You can recover data saved in.bak files by renaming the.bak extension to dwg and then opening that file in AutoCAD. Backup files are essentially renamed.dwg files.
